Par Hasard is inspired by the traditional Belgian chip shop, where guests were received by a host or hostess. They serve traditional dishes with homemade fries. Par Hasard stands for good products without fuss.
The potato is prepared on-site into fresh fries. But not only the fries are homemade, the pulled pork croquette and the various sauces are also freshly made. In addition, they work with beautiful products, such as the famous Holtkamp croquette.
What are fries without a good glass of wine or a nice beer? Par Hasard’s drinks menu has the perfect complimentary drink for every menu option. This chip shop is no snack bar.
DRINK COFFEE, BREAKFAST, LUNCH OR BRUNCH IN AMSTERDAM
We don’t want to call it a lunchroom or coffee bar. Neither is a sandwich shop, by the way. With us you eat bagels, not sandwiches. We have put the bagel on the map in the Netherlands, and we are quite proud of that. Our coffee comes from a small-scale family plantation on the hills of the Baru volcano in Panama where they still do almost everything manually.
There are many tasty, healthy and special things on the menu, but at Bagels & Beans it is about more. We want to be an oasis of peace and reflection in a world that is moving faster and faster. That is why we also call ourselves “the sanctuary for coffee, bagels and happiness”. And that is why we say: do you want a nice and cozy lunch? Then you have to be with us. It’s tasty and healthy too.
At Café Lust, groups of 5 to 68 people can dine inside our Café or outside on our renewed terrace when the weather is nice. At dinner you can think of various snacks, soups and finger food, burgers with fries, and cheese fondues. In short, we can tailor it for you and your guests. Afterwards we throw the tables aside and turn it into a dance party.
