For a dessert, Belgian chocolate mousse and crème brûlée with cuberdon are recommendable. A large and great selection of local beers is also available. While everyone in Belgium knows the pistolet as a wonderful little round bread roll, with a slit in the middle, a soft core and golden crust, it is not as famous across Belgian borders… Historically, its name comes from the price, a “pistole”, an early type of coin … But the mystery remains unsolved!
Pistolet Original is small scale but high-end delicatessen concept that aims to glamorize the traditional Belgian bakery. It is a cozy spot, a grocery store with a food-counter where you can eat on several moments of the day, in a convivial atmosphere.
