Spido
A port cruise with the Spido is the perfect getaway on a beautiful day. In about 75 minutes you pass the Rotterdam skyline and go through one of the largest harbors in the world. During the cruise you will receive information about the imposing buildings, shipyards and docks that occur. At the reception of the hotel you can buy entree vouchers.
The price is € 13,25 per adult and € 8,00 per child. The Spido Harbor Tour is available from June till October every day from 10:15 am; the last departure is at 17:00h. You do not need to make a reservation.
Laurenskerk
The Laurenskerk is a church and the only monument from the middle ages in Rotterdam. It has been refurbished and restored in recent years. It is not only a place to pray, but it is also available for concerts, symposia and fairs. The Laurenskerk has a permanent exhibition called ‘A monument of stories’. This exhibition lets visitors experience the past through various story themes and audio clips.
The entrance price with audio guides is € 3,00 per person. From April to October you can climb the bell tower on Wednesday at 14:00h and Saturday at 12:00h and 13:30h. The cost for the climb is € 5 per person and has a minimum age of 6 years. You do not need to make a reservation.
Erasmusbrug
The Erasmus Bridge is the biggest icon of Rotterdam. The 800 meter long bridge is the connection between the northern and southern part of Rotterdam.

The Erasmus Bridge was completed in 1996 and was designed by Ben van Berkel. It is definitely recommended to take a walk across the Erasmus Bridge. This gives you beautiful views of the skyline of Rotterdam, both during the day and in the evening.
Kinderdijk
The Kinderdijk is not located in Rotterdam but is easily accessible from Rotterdam. By metro and bus or till the end of October you can travel by Waterbus departing from the Erasmus bridge. This World Heritage is a must see if you like nature and culture. The Kinderdijk lies below sea level, so to keep our feet dry, the mills have been cooperating with the wind and water for centuries. The Kinderdijk offers a variety of guided walks, and offers good cycling and hiking trails. Go on tour with a guide and learn everything about the mills and how the wind stops the water.
Diergaarde Blijdorp Zoo
Diergaarde Blijdorp is one of Europe’s most beautiful zoos. The animals are globally organized in natural-looking biotopes. As a result, every piece of the zoo feels like a new adventure. Through the many covered parts of the world, Blijdorp is always the perfect day away.
Blijdorp Zoo is open all year from 09:00 until 18:00 hour. The entrance fee for adults is € 23,00 and for children up to 12 years € 18,50. To visit the zoo you can take the metro from station Beurs to Blijdorp. It is only a 5 minute walk to the entrance.
