Disney’s The Lion King

(Only available at AFAS Circus theater Scheveningen)

The Lion King is back! However it will not be animated, rather it’s a new musical which is produced by Joop van Den Ende and can only be seen at the AFAS Circus theater Scheveningen. This special and unique story has been experienced by more than 80 million people all over the world and can now be seen up close on just 15 minutes away from easyHotel The Hague city centre. Simba and Nala are being casted by Naidjim Severina and Gaia Aikman.

The musical from 2016 which is based on the Disneyfilm from 1994 can be seen weekly on Tuesday until Sunday in Dutch version from 13 May untill 29 July.

The Hague antique & books fair which is located at Lange Voorhout and het Plein is the place to be for everyone who loves art. This fair has many stalls filled with antique items, old pictures, paintings, books and many more. The fair is located on walking distance from the hotel and it is also surrounded by cozy terraces at Lange Voorhout.

Besides the antique & book fair, many great terraces and restaurants can be found on walking distance with amazing views on the Binnenhof and the Mauritshuis. These terraces and restaurants are opened till late and are cozy places to spend time with friends and family.

The antique & book fair is opened every Thursday and Sunday fromt 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Did u ever want to race and drift on ice? After all of the previous successful years, the Uithof hosts this amazing event once again this year. They prepared a 400 meter ice track for anyone who loves a challenge and unique experience. If you would like to participate you have to be fast however since the season for icekarting started on April the 2nd and lasts until June the 2nd.

Uithof offers more than just icekarting. It has many activities such as snowboarding, skiing, ice skating as well as rock climbing and much more. Uithof also has 3 different places to have diner or lunch. The Uithof is easily accessible with the car and has large parking terrain. You can also travel easily by public transport with the Randstadrail 4 or bus 25 from The Hague Central Station.
