Please accept our apologies for the fact that we only answer questions to which the answers cannot be found in any of the categories of the (Most) Frequently Asked Questions below.
General hotel information
- Address: What is the address of the easyHotel?
The address of the hotel can be found in the ”Location” tab on each specific hotel page. Click on one of the easyHotels below to find the information.

- Bank: Where is the nearest bank or currency exchange?
Currency can be exchanged at most of the major railway station at a company called GWK. The nearest bank is always located at a maximum of 5 minutes walk away and there is always an ATM/cash dispenser machine around the corner.
- Check-in/check-out: What is the check-in/check-out time?
The check-in time is from 3 PM onwards. If you would like to check-in earlier and there is availability, for a small charge from € 7,50 on your can check-in as of midday. When you arrive before 12 noon or if there are no rooms available, you can make use of the lockers for € 4 for a period up to 24 hours.
The check-out is at 10 AM. If you would like to sleep late, please book your late check-out at the reception at a charge from € 15 on per room. Then you can sleep late until 1 pm. Again, if you would like to store your baggage after your check-out, you can rent a locker for € 4 up to 24 hours.
- Compliments & reviews: How do I compliment an easyHotel?

- Currency: What is the currency in The Netherlands?
The currency in the Netherlands is Euro (€).
- Doctor: Is a doctor available at the hotel?
We have a doctor on call 24 hours.
- Drinking water: Is it safe to drink tap water in The Netherlands?
The tap water in The Netherlands is safe to drink.
- Late check-in: Can I check-in after 18.00 hours?
Yes, you can check in after 18.00 pm. If your booking is not guaranteed with a credit card, please call the hotel to inform you arrival time or log in to guarantee your booking by credit card.
- Letters & packages: Do you accept my package if I have it sent to the hotel?
For insurance and safety reasons, we unfortunately cannot accept any letters or packages sent to the hotel, not intended for the hotel. Any letters and packages not addresses to the hotel & its staff, will be returned to sender and not accepted.
- Elevator: Do you have an elevator?
Yes, in all properties we feature an elevator, reaching all the guest room floors, as well as wheelchair friendly rooms.
- Lost & found: What if I left an item at a easyHotel?
For lost items, please contact the hotel directly. If you can, do so as soon as you realize your item is missing, it is then more likely that your item can be found. The hotel will then advise you on how to get the item returned to you and what the approximate costs are of the shipment. Three months after an item has been found and has since then not been returned or claimed by the guest, items will be destroyed or given to charity.
- Luggage/baggage: Can baggage be stored at the hotel?
Baggage can be stored in the hotel in a hotel locker in the public area of the hotel. There is a small charge of 4 euro’s per locker for a period up to 24 hours.
- Opening hours: Is the hotel open 24 hours a day?
Yes, the hotel is open 24 hours a day and you can enter the hotel 24 hours per day with your own room key after check-in. Our hotel staff is 24/7 available for you as a registered guest in the hotel and the reception is manned 24 hours a day.
- Pets: Do easyHotels accept pets?
Unfortunately we cannot accept pets. Pets are not allowed, other than assistance dogs.
- Room types: What types of rooms are available in the hotel?
The easyHotel has 8 room categories:
1. Small double room (not in all properties)
2. Twin bedded room
3. Standard double room
4. Superior double room (not in all properties)
5. Wheelchair accessible twin bedded or double room
6. Family triple room (1 double and 1 single bed – not in all properties)
7. Family quadruple room (1 double and 2 single beds – not in all properties)
8. Family quintuple (3x single & 1 x double)
- Smoking: Do you allow smoking on property? In the rooms?
We are a 100% non-smoking hotel and smoking is not allowed in the rooms nor in the public area’s.
- Wheelchair accessible: How do I find hotel accommodations for the physically challenged at a specific easyHotel?
Please refer to the specific hotel on easyhotelbenelux.com for hotel details under room types. The rooms for the physically challenged are listed under wheelchair accessible rooms. Should you require a room for persons with wheelchair accessible or should you have a disability assistance dog, please let us know at the time of booking. When booking a room intended for a person with required wheelchair access, during the booking process you will be required to confirm that such booking is intended for a person with required wheelchair access that precludes him/her from staying in any other room type. If you book a room of this type and the person for which it is intended does not need such wheelchair access, at check-in we reserve the right to charge you any price differential at the prevailing rate, allocate you alternative accommodation or refuse you accommodation and you shall not be entitled to any refund.
- Special request: How can I make a special request regarding my stay?
Special requests can be made when making your hotel booking online. Special requests are not guaranteed and will be honored depending on availability at check-in, but of course we will do our very best to accommodate the request.
- Tourist information: Do you have a tour desk where I can book excursions during my stay?
At the reception you can get information about all sorts of sightseeing tours and tickets to entertainment. Please use this link to see what is playing during your stay. At the reception we will be able to make recommendations according to your wishes.
- Voltage: What voltage do you use in The Netherlands?
The electricity voltage in The Netherlands is at 220 volts. Adapters are available at the hotel starting at € 7.50.
- WiFi: Do you have high-speed wired and/or wireless internet access available?
Wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel. In all the Benelux properties, WiFi and TV is free of charge.

- Getting around: Can I rent a bicycle in the hotel?
Bicycles can be rented in the hotel ( excluding easyHotel Brussels City Centre and easyHotel Amsterdam Schiphol Airport) based on availability. Please ask our reception staff in the easyHotel for more information and availability. The rates for renting a bicycle start at € 12,50 per 24 hours.
- Local shopping: How far is the hotel from the downtown shopping areas?
The hotels are all located downtown and in the heart of the city and the shopping areas are always within comfortable walking distance.
- Location: Where are you located?
We are always located in the heart of the city centre near all major business districts, shopping areas, museums and highways. Please refer to the hotel location belowo to see the directions to the hotel by car or public transport.

- Parking: Do you have parking facilities? How much is parking?
At the hotels there is curbside street parking. In some hotels we have made alternative arrangements like a parking garage. You can ask our staff in the hotel for more information.
Reservations
- Confirmation: Must I print out my booking reservation / confirmation?
If you have checked-in online, just print you check-in card, sign and bring this along. When checking in, you only have to hand in your check-in card without filling in any additional details.
Otherwise it is advisable to print out your booking reservation for reference and easy check-in at the hotel. If you don’t have a print out of your reservation, please confirm your booking details at the reception desk and provide your identification.
- Creditcard: Can I make a booking on behalf of another person but pay it with my own credit card?
Yes, you can. In case of fraudulent use of the credit card however the reservation will be cancelled and the booker will be notified at the given email address.
- Creditcard: What If I do not have a credit card, how can I book anyway?
You can book via our own website www.easyHotelbenelux.com, there you have the possibility to pay with iDeal / Sofort banking or BitCoins.
- Forgot confirmation number: I forgot/lost my confirmation number. How do I find it?
To retrieve your confirmation number, please login to “My Booking” directly to retrieve your confirmation number.
- Forms of payment: What forms of payment are accepted to pay for my room?
Please be advised that you are required to supply a method of payment for all prepaid/non-refundable bookings.
- Group reservation: How do I make a group reservation?
To request a reservation for your group or for more information, please fill out the form on the Corporate Booking page
- Manage my reservation: How do I view, amend or cancel my reservation?

- Minimum age requirement: What is the minimum age requirement to check in to the room?
You must be 18 years of age with a valid ID to check in to the hotel.
- Minimum length of stay: Is there a minimum of number of nights I must book?
Yes, one night. On days with a high demand, it could happen that there is a minimum length of stay of 2 or more nights. That means that if you would like to stay on e.g. the Saturday, you also have to stay on the Friday or the Sunday night.
- Multiple guest names: If I make a booking for one room for 2 persons, do I need to provide both names?
Per room reservation you can only list one guest name. At least one guest mentioned in the booking needs to be present and able to verify their booking and name with a valid ID upon check-in.
- My booking: How do I view my hotel reservations online?
If you made your reservation on this website, visit our My booking page to lookup your existing reservations by signing in with your login and password.
- Online security: Is your online reservation process secure to protect my personal and credit card information?
The hotel room reservation process through www.easyHotelbenelux.com is safe and secure. Once you enter your personal and credit card information; your online reservation is processed through a secure computer server. The personal information you enter is encrypted to keep it protected while in transit. For more information, refer to our online security certificate.
- Other booking websites: I booked on a website other than the hotel website and I need to make a change to my reservation. How do I do this?
You need to contact the booking channel / website through which you made your reservation, in order to request the information you need, such as confirmation numbers, changes, etc. In that case your are governed by the Terms & Conditions as mentioned on that site.
- Other name: Can I check in if the booking is in someone else’s name?
Only the person whose name stated in the booking confirmation will be allowed to check in. This will be verified with a valid ID of the person checking in.
- Refunds: Does easyHotel offer refunds?
Unfortunately we do not offer refunds. When you have booked an flexible rate type, you will be charged on the day of arrival or a few days prior, depending on the cancellation terms. After this time, the booking is considered to be a prepaid, non-refundable booking. As with all prepaid/non-refundable booking, we do not refund any payments and you will loose 100% of the reservation value and the room will fall back into the inventory of the hotel, to be sold by the hotel.
- Terms & Conditions: What are the Terms & Conditions (T&C) of booking a room?

- Valid ID: Is my ID/passport required at check in?
We do require presentation of a valid government-issued identification at the time of check-in.
Rooms & rates
- Airconditioning: Are all rooms air conditioned?
Yes, all rooms are air conditioned and can be individually controlled in the room.
- Baby cots: Are baby cots available in the hotel?
Baby cots are not available in the hotel.
- Bathtub: Do you have rooms with a bathtub?
All rooms are equipped with high power showers and do not feature a bathtub.
- Cancel booking: How do I cancel my hotel reservation without a charge?
To cancel your booking without incurring any charge, please contact the hotel at least one day prior to your arrival. You will then be given a cancellation number. Please note that you must be booked on a ’Flexible’ rate type as ’Non Refundable’ rates are prepaid and non-refundable. If you cancel a prepaid/non-refundable rate then you will loose 100% of the reservation value and the room will be released back into inventory to be sold by the hotel.
- Closet: Is there a wardrobe in the room? Can I hang my clothes in the room?
In all the rooms we have provided hangers to hang your clothes. We do not features closets or wardrobes in any of the rooms in order to optimize the use of space.
- Connecting rooms: Do you have connecting rooms?
Unfortunately we do not have connecting rooms in the hotel. You can put in a request for joining rooms or rooms on the same floor, however we are not able to block rooms and therefore cannot guarantee your request.
- Early check-in: Is it possible to check-in earlier?
It is possible to check-in earlier at a charge from € 7,50 on, however, this depends on availability and cannot be guaranteed. Here goes: first come, first served!
- Extra bed: Does the hotel provide additional or have extra beds available?
Unfortunately the hotel does not have any extra beds available, nor is it possible to place an extra bed in the room, due to size constraints and the fact that the current bed in the room can not be moved.
- Group bookings: Do you offer discounts for a group booking?

- Hairdryer: Do you have a hairdryer in the rooms?
At the reception you can rent a hairdryer for € 2 per overnight stay. We don’t have standard hairdryers in the hotel rooms.
- Late check-out: Can I sleep late? What is check-out time?
Regular check-out time is 10 am. You can request a late check-out until 13.00 hours at a charge from € 15 on per room.
- Number of guests: How many people can stay in one room?
A small double room, twin room, standard room, superior room and disabled room can accommodate a maximum of two adults. A family triple room can accommodate a maximum of three adults. A family quadruple room can accommodate a maximum of four adults. The double beds are 140 or 160 cm wide and the twin/single beds are 80 cm wide.
- Room cleaning: Is the room fully serviced when I check-in?
All rooms are cleaned and made up with one towel per person, cotton sheets, duvet and pillows upon your arrival. An extra room cleaning during your stay is an optional extra and can be arranged for €15 per room cleaning, it’s up to you! When staying for five nights or more, an additional room cleaning is offered free of charge.
- Room rate: Are your hotel rates per room or per person?
The rates charged are per room although the cost may differ slightly for double, triple or quadruple occupancy, based on the city tax per person.
- Room rates: How much are your room rates?
Our room rates are not fixed. On a daily basis we check the prices from the surrounding hotels and adapt our prices accordingly, in order to offer you the best affordable rates at all times. The room rates therefore fluctuate based on demand and availability in the city.
- Room types: What types of rooms are available in the hotel?

- Safety deposit box: Is there a safety deposit box available at the hotel?
We feature lockers for your luggage in the public area’s of the hotel; unfortunately there are a no safety deposit boxes in the rooms or at the reception.
- Smoking: Do you have non-smoking rooms?
We are a 100% non-smoking hotel and smoking is not allowed in the rooms nor in the public area’s. Outside near the main entrance there are ashtrays installed for your convenience.
- Wheelchair accessible: Do you have special facilities and services available for the disabled guests?
Yes, we have rooms specially equipped for disabled guests in the hotel.
- Towels & toiletries: Are there towels, toilet paper & shampoo in the rooms?
All the rooms are cleaned and made up with one large towel per person, shampoo and toilet paper upon your arrival.
- TV channels: What television channels are available in the rooms?
We have 50 international TV channels filled with news, sports and more in our hotel guest rooms. The WiFi and TV access is free of charge.
- Windows: Can I open the windows?
All rooms feature windows and in order to allow optimal functioning airconditioning and airflow systems, your room is equipped with individual controls and the windows will remain shut.
Breakfast, lunch & diner
- Breakfast: Where is breakfast served and at what times?
Breakfast can be enjoyed at the breakfast and lunch café near the hotel that serves breakfast from the early morning, 7 days a week. As an easyHotel guest you will receive a discount starting at 10%, up to 25%!

- Restaurant: Do you have a restaurant & bar?
We have selected partners for the use of breakfast, lunch & dinner facilities in the vicinity. The nearest breakfast café is never more than 50 meters walk from the hotel. With your room key that you will receive upon check-in, registered guests are able to get discounts at these partnering establishments. So besides a good deal on your hotel room, you also get a good deal at the selected restaurants, enjoy!

Traveling with children
- Baby cot: Can I reserve a baby cot to be placed in the room?
Unfortunately, the hotel does not feature baby cots, nor is there the space or availability to put a spare bed in the rooms. The beds in the rooms cannot be moved.
- Children free: Do children stay free at easyHotels?
The maximum number of occupants is 3 or 4 (including infants and children). The beds are 80 cm for a single bed (in e.g. the twin, triple and quadruple rooms) or 140/160 cm wide for a double bed (in e.g. the small/standard double rooms) and cannot be moved. There is no space or availability to put an extra or spare bed in the rooms.
